Terms of Manufacturing & Supply
Standard regulatory conditions governing custom vinyl compounding, extrusion production, contract tendering, and international logistics execution.
1. Custom Tooling, Extrusion Dies & Proprietary Molds
For all non-standard profiles requiring dedicated alloy cross-sectional tooling arrays, the following technical guidelines apply:
- Tooling Cost Framework: Tooling engineering fees are billed upfront at 100% prior to CNC milling execution unless explicit waivers are signed via contract scaling parameters.
- Ownership Parameters: All physical extrusion dies and molds remain the property of our factory base infrastructure to safeguard architectural intellectual properties. Client-exclusive design configurations are bound by strict non-disclosure parameters.
- Sample Verification: Mass extrusion runs will only proceed upon written sign-off of initial physical sample segments (300mm length arrays) by the client’s lead engineering consultant.
2. Manufacturing Tolerances & Color Matching Criteria
All custom extrusions and injection molded polymers are manufactured subject to international standard variance boundaries. Material submittals are evaluated based on the following structural tolerances:
| Profile Metric | Reference Standard | Allowable Factory Tolerance Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Linear Length (Pre-cut) | DIN ISO 2768-1 | ± 0.5 mm per meter array |
| Wall Thickness Variance | ASTM D3559 | ± 0.1 mm structural bound |
| Color Variance Deviation | CIELAB Spectrum | Delta E (ΔE*ab) ≤ 0.5 |
| Straightness Tolerance | EN 755-9 | ≤ 1.5 mm per linear meter |
*Note: Natural micro-variations resulting from heat aging variables in polymer twin-screw compound processing within these tolerances do not constitute manufacturing faults.
3. Shipping, Logistics Allocations & Incoterms 2020
Unless explicitly designated in writing via special project tender frameworks, all international freight allocation models default to the standard ICC Incoterms 2020 layout:
- Baseline Shipping Term: Default supply is executed on an FOB (Free on Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis at designated shipping ports.
- Packaging Standards: High-impact profiles are bundled within multi-layer reinforced export crating configurations. It is the contractor’s structural liability to inspect the container seal flags immediately at site delivery.
- Demurrage Responsibilities: Any demurrage or terminal holding overheads originating from clearance delays caused by a lack of localized import credentials or late import tax allocation are the exclusive liability of the consignee.
4. Structural Warranty & Defects Liability Period (DLP)
We provide verified structural engineering security backing for commercial public project deployments:
Our products feature a standard 5-Year Factory Material Defect Structural Warranty covering cross-sectional disintegration, deep polymer chalking, and systematic compounding failure under normal usage parameters.
Our warranties operate under the following strict legal parameters:
- Exclusions from Coverage: Warranty claims are voided if failures result from unapproved multi-axial anchor variations, severe over-load impacts exceeding documented limits (e.g., >1500N for handrails), or continuous contact with unauthorized concentrated abrasive reagents.
- Defects Liability Protocol: During the project DLP, the factory responsibility is restricted to supplying matching replacement linear components EXW (Ex Works). The factory bears no legal liability for local site labor costs, installation dismantling overheads, or consequential operational downtime.
5. Dispute Resolution, Governance & Force Majeure
Any structural disagreement arising from international supply contracts will follow a standardized legal progression:
- Amicable Technical Arbitration: Parties agree to submit structural issues to independent third-party certification authorities (e.g., SGS / TÜV laboratory inspection counters) to isolate production errors from field installation faults.
- Force Majeure Exceptions: Delivery timelines are dynamically suspended without liquid damages penalties in the event of upstream raw alloy supply shortfalls, maritime shipping hold-ups, state-ordered grid limitations, or macro-regional trade embargoes.
Require Project-Specific Warranty Adjustments?
Certain public infrastructure tenders require 10-year extended warranties or localized performance bond placements. Connect directly with our trade compliance managers to align on custom project parameters.
